The Waffle House is where fond memories are created by generations of family members who come to enjoy mouthwatering comfort food.
Since 1954, the Waffle House has always been filled with big families, seniors and kids all craving fresh, homemade-style cuisine.
This is one family-friendly restaurant that gets breakfast, lunch and dinner right. Naturally, the waffle are the main draw, but loyal clientele, who have been coming for decades, know that the Waffle House is so much more than that.
A year ago, brothers Robert, Roumel and sister Romina bought the landmark eatery.
They have kept up the tradition of offering more than 20 different waffles including; hot blueberry, raspberry, peaches, bacon and eggs, ham, to name just a few.
Meanwhile, the lunch hour business is brisk, and for good reasons.
The eatery's sandwiches and soups, for example, burst with flavour. The turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce are made using real cooked turkey breast - not deli meat.
But more than that, the mainstay restaurant is renowned for offering daily specials. Senior get to enjoy Seniors
Night on Monday, Tuesday and Wesnesday from 4-8 p.m. They can choose from either a free dessert or soup with the purchase of dinner entree, or they can order the $8.99 seniors special.
Thursday's dinner special changes weekly, offering such home style goodness as cabbage rolls, sheperds pie, meat loaf, or oven baked lasagna, to name just a few. Friday is Stirfry Fridays and Saturdays are beef stew night.
The diner offers up a nice, bright and cheery atmo- sphere and Robert credits its courteous and friendly staff for its loyal clientele.
You'll come back for the delicious fare but you'll be thrilled by the affordable prices.
P.S. Waffle House celebrates your birthday with one of its signature dessert...free.
